Patient did not want to smile.

This patient came to Dr. Boulard for an evaluation concerning old dental work that had been placed and failing. He removed the old work and fabricated new bridges and crowns.

This patient presented to Dr. Boulard with unsightly and failing old dental work. After discussion and questions about esthetic goals, it was decided that tooth whitening and replacement of old dental work, as well as a new crown would give the best results. This patient was thrilled after even the temporary phase, and the final results are dramatic. She is no longer afraid of smiling and showing off her new great looking smile.

Emergency Trauma Rehabilitation

This adult patient had trauma from an accident. The upper incisor teeth in particular were heavily damaged, which necessitated emergency root canals and bonding performed at Something To Smile About in Merrimack NH. From there, Dr. Boulard and his team conducted a two-step process for installing dental crowns as both a cosmetic and restorative solution, starting with temporary crowns followed by permanent crowns. After the final crowns were placed, the patient returned to having clean, white smile — with no evidence of trauma to be seen.

After an accident, emergency root canals and bonding were done during the first visit. Then, teeth were prepared for temporary crowns and then final crowns.

At last, a nice smile!

This patient was not happy with the appearance of his two front teeth which had been injured when he was young. All porcelain crowns were chosen by Dr. Boulard for the best cosmetic results and to protect them for a long time.

I’m getting Married next month!

This patient presented to Dr. Boulard with cosmetic concerns of a previously injured tooth that turned dark. She had a wedding coming up and was wondering what could be done to fix the color. A crown was chosen as the best treatment to improve the esthetics and support the delicate tooth structure underneath. Due to the time constraints, Dr. Boulard’s lab actually made 3 different crowns for her, and the best one was chosen. This is very hard to do in one try in such short amount of time. Nice job by all involved. Our patient was thrilled, and we wish you the best in your future.

Fix my smile

If you have teeth that have become misshapen, cracked, or damaged, dental bonding and contouring as a restorative dentistry treatment performed at Something To Smile About in Merrimack, NH could get you back on track to better oral health and a brighter smile. In this case, a patient had not been to the dentist for a while, and his teeth were damaged. Using composite resin, Dr. Boulard was able to use dental bonding to greatly improve the composition of this man’s teeth and produce a newly radiant smile.

This patient had not been to the dentist in a while, and was aware that he had some issues with his gums and teeth. After diagnosing all of the problems, the patient and Dr. Boulard designed a treatment plan that would start by achieving basic health. Gum therapy and the removal of all cavities and fixing them with composite was chosen. This result was accomplished using basic dentistry, and not only is he healthy again, but he is very happy with the appearance of his teeth again. It was a nice turn around for his mouth, and now he will be able to keep his teeth for a long time to come.

Cosmetic Bonding

This patient never liked the space that he naturally had between his teeth. After a thorough evaluation and discussion, it was decided to use cosmetic bonding to help close the space, instead of moving the teeth with clear aligners or using crowns. Our patient was thrilled at the results that were accomplished so comfortably and in such a short period of time.

Upper and lower immediate implant dentures

This patient came in to see Dr. Boulard frustrated with what was going on with his teeth. His current situation was not good, and fixing his current teeth would have been really expensive and would probably not last too long. It was decided to proceed with implant dentures.

After deciding that fixing his current teeth would not be reliable, and would be very expensive, his teeth were removed and implants placed the same day. During that appointment, premade prosthetic dentures were converted in the mouth, and he walked out with the teeth in the same appoinntment. This is currently his temporary teeth, and he will soon be coming in for his permanent teeth. He is so happy with the result so far, and he is not longer in pain from his teeth that were breaking down.

New digital workflow

This implant prosthetic was the first to be done by Dr. Boulard in his practice. Typically, the Dr. and patient go to the oral surgeon’s office with a pre-made prosthetic. After teeth are removed, and the implants placed, the pre-made prosthetic is converted chairside to fit the newly placed implants. This is great, but time consuming. It often leads to several more hours in the chair after having the implants placed.

This new technique uses a scanner, which scans the implants and tissues the day of implant placement. This is then sent to the lab, which already has a digital design done, and a custom temporary prosthetic is milled, using a titanium bar and acrylic. This is then delivered the next day, and saves a tremendous amount of chair time for the patient. The temporary prosthetic is accurate, very strong and very esthetic compared to the alternative.

After 3-4 months, new scans will be done to make the final prosthetic, made from Zirconia.

This patient presented to the office with upper teeth that could not be predictably restored. The patient and Dr. decided that an implant supported prosthetic was the treatement of choice. Utilizing scanning technology and design software, this case was completed in two weeks from the time he chose to to this treatment until he had it performed. A very nice result was achieved in a short amount of time.

Tooth repair with a crown

This gentleman had a very large filling. The outside of his tooth has several fracture lines. This tooth has previously broken, and if this last part breaks, he could loose his tooth. He chose to have a crown made to prevent this from happening. Now his tooth is strong and he doesn’t have to worry about it breaking in the future.
